- What does your fee include? The fee includes a black, white or grey background; digital photography; e-mail proofs for immediate approval; items isolated from the background if required (in this case the final digital image will contain a cut-out layer), and a CD Rom containing your 'Tiff' images.

- Are there any hidden costs? Any additional costs such as: model fees, use of unusual backgrounds, travel and subsistence costs for location work, etc, are to be agreed in writing beforehand, and either invoiced by the supplier directly to you, the client, or paid for by the client upon request. If these costs are to be carried by thedigitalimageworks until invoiced to you, there will be an administration fee of 10%.

- What is the best way of explaining the composition I have in mind? Send us a sketch, photo of a mock up, page from a catalogue or a link to a website showing the style you would like.

- What if I don't have any particular idea of how the photos should look? Tell us, and we can bring to bear years of expertise in professional photography to suggest the best way to present your product.

- How will I know what the photographs will look like? We can send jpeg proofs to your e-mail address for you to quickly approve.

- What if the proofs indicate that changes are needed? You are free to make minor adjustments at the proof stage. However, any significant amendments may incur extra charges. (see terms and conditions.)

- I have a number of larger items to be photographed; do I pay the full price for each one? Volume discounts also apply to larger projects. Tell us what you need and we can give you a firm price based on your project.

- I would like images of a large and/or heavy item. Is this a problem? No, but contact us first. Extra shipping, handling, or traveling charges may apply.

- My products are too large to move. Can they be photographed in situ? Probably, but of course it depends on the situation. We are happy to shoot items large or small on location provided you pay the travel and subsistence costs incurred. Call us for a chat.

- I would like to include a model in the shot. Can this be arranged? Yes, of course. We can include adults and or children in your images, and have model release forms signed. There will of course be additional fees for the models.

- I would like to use a different background to the standard. Can this be arranged? Yes, either you can supply one or we can try to source a particular surface for you. For the extra costs of a specially sourced background see the note on additional costs below.

- I want the products to be photographed on a particular background that I have already. Can this be used? If you wish to supply a background we will endeavour to use it, if we consider it to be suitable.

- I need images of a product that will take time to assemble. Will you charge extra? Please let us know in advance. The prices are so low because we assume a minimum amount of assembly time. If this is not sufficient we are happy to arrange for your product to be assembled at an additional hourly rate of £20 per hour.

- What if my product(s) are lost or damaged? We will take good care or your property but please make sure it is fully insured. Items must be adequately packed, as we will use your packaging for return.

- How will you return my items? Return shipping can be arranged as required and is charged at cost plus 10%. You are of course, free to make your own collection arrangements if you prefer.

- Can you provide prints of the final images? High quality prints on photographic paper are available at competitive prices.

- Can you supply larger file sizes? Image files up to 64 Mb can be supplied if required. These images are taken on a high end scanning back which creates a non-interpolated source image file of 64 Mb. There is a 50% surcharge per shot for this service.

- What happens if the CD is lost or damaged? We recommend you immediately back up the images by duplicating them to another CD. In case of the CD being lost in transit we will keep duplicates of the images for you to access for a small fee for a maximum of one month from delivery of the finished job.
